Moon
I was sick with the flu the week I made Moon. I had decided it would be interesting to do a little week-long game jam every week, and Ellie gave me the theme of “Shoot for the moon.”
It was very tempting to make a shoot-em-up where your health was the phase of the moon. Anyway, I thought a little action-puzzler could be fun. You’re the moon and it’s your first day on the job - you better go through training on how to move the tides. You switch on and off ‘gravity’ in order to move water to a target area.
I really enjoy this concept and was quite pleased with the result. Since I was sick, I only made two levels, but this one’s got legs.
Written in LiveScript instead of Lua - my tests showed it uses about a third fewer tokens than Lua for the same result when working with Claude Code.
Controls
- Mouse to move the moon (or arrow keys)
- Click (or Z) to toggle gravity on/off
All these games are incomplete and broken. Caveat emptor
